Inside the Lemann atelier

Materials, hands, and the work behind the wardrobe—a closer look at the people and space behind Lemann.

Rows of material samples run from yellow and pink through blue, green, brown, and black. Some are smooth; others carry a pronounced texture. Lemann’s September 27, 2026 atelier post introduces this view with three words: “Materials.Hands.Sounds”.

It is a different way to look at a fashion collection. Before choosing a finished silhouette, pause over the colors and surfaces that give it character. The sample rack makes those possibilities visible in one frame.

A year of making and growing

In its 2025 year-end note, the Lemann team reported new designs and photoshoots, an expanded atelier, and a renovated showroom.

The same note recorded a harder part of that year. During an electricity outage at the atelier near the end of 2025, the tailors continued sewing from home through the final day of the year. The team thanked them directly for that work.

Those details belong alongside the finished photographs. They show the practical work behind the brand: making room, developing pieces, and finding a way to keep sewing when the workshop could not operate as usual.

The material rack offers a quieter entry into that story. Look for a color or texture you recognize, then see how it appears in a finished piece.
